Monomeric MDI

Monomeric MDI (Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate) refers to the pure 4,4'-MDI isomer, a solid at room temperature, or a mixture containing 4,4'-MDI and 2,4'-MDI isomers. This chemical is used to make polyurethanes for applications such as elastomers, thermoplastic polyurethanes, adhesives, coatings, and shoe soles.
